Questions and answers

Does the course cost anything?

No. The course and the certificate are free. After certification you also get 3 months free as a partner.

Do I need a mechanic certificate or experience?

No. You do not need a mechanic certificate or previous experience. The course teaches you everything: what an inspector does, how to inspect a car step by step, how to use the app and how to look after your customers. When you pass the exam you get your SightCore inspection certificate.

How does the commission work?

The customer pays the normal price for the inspection – nothing is added on top. SightCore keeps 15 % of that price if you share professional content with us (filmed with our free Content shoot side course), or 20 % if you keep it private. The rest, 85 % or 80 %, is paid out to you at the end of the month. Example: a 400 Full inspection → you get 340 (or 320). A 200 Normal inspection → 180 (or 160). We only take a commission on customers who book an appointment through our website and whom you accept. Customers you bring in yourself are 100 % yours – we take nothing from them.

Who can take the course?

Anyone who wants to inspect used cars in Saudi Arabia – mechanics, vehicle technicians, workshops, and people starting from zero. Both self-employed inspectors and people who want to run something of their own on the side are welcome.

How long does it take?

Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours: 12 lessons with a built-in study timer, a quiz after each lesson and a 40-question final exam. It is a real course – you cannot skip through it. You can pause whenever you like; your progress is saved and you can continue on any device.

Is the course available in other languages?

Yes. The course, the exam and the certificate are available in English and Arabic – choose your language at the top of the page.

What happens after 3 months?

You choose whether to continue with Normal ( 99/month) or Full ( 149/month), or stop. No lock-in and nothing is charged automatically.

Do I need my own business?

To take paid jobs you need to be able to issue invoices, for example through your own registration or through a workshop. You can take the course either way.

Is the certificate an official licence?

No. It is SightCore's pre-purchase inspection certificate and shows that you passed our training and exam. It does not authorise the periodic technical inspection.

What is the difference between the Normal and Full plans?

Both plans include the 3D inspection, PDF reports with your logo, WhatsApp and email delivery and the customers booked on our website. The Full plan adds Edit Reports and customer history, your own WhatsApp message, one signature and stamp saved in Settings and added to every report, and adding coverage cities instantly. On the Normal plan you sign and add your stamp on each report, and extra cities need approval from SightCore.

What is the difference between a partner and a solo partner?

A partner is a workshop or business with its own brand: reports carry your logo at the top and your own stamp and signature. A solo partner works under the SightCore brand: reports carry the SightCore brand and stamp, the app shows the SightCore logo, and you add your own signature. A solo partner’s stamp is set by SightCore and cannot be changed. Both can be on the Normal or the Full plan.

Where do I use a car lift and the computer diagnostic tool?

Our main mechanic-shop partners use the same platform and can host you. If you already have a trusted place, use it: it is your choice. If you choose one of our partner workshops you pay that workshop an agreed percentage of that customer. We agree the percentage with the workshop for you, so you do not lose anything. The workshop can also run the report with its own logo.
